The Pyle Home PCA2 Mini amplifier worked just as expected. I needed a small amplifier to hook-up my flat screen TV to some old stereo speakers (that still have great sound) and this did the trick turning this set-up into a great sounding home theater system. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and the value of the product.

I give this little jewel 5 stars for MY application. I'm not sure how it would perform at higher power levels. I am using it to amplify a signal from a 5.8 ghz TV/audio receiver, which receives audio from two channels of my home theater. I listen on the patio at quite low levels and play through some decent patio speakers. Works exactly as I planned it. Very good little amp for the money.

This amplifier is small, compact, but works great. I tried one which worked right off so I ordered ten more. They save space and are less expensive than even a amplifier card. My boss always competes with me to find the best and cheapest gadgets and I got him on this one.

I bought this amp to use at my desk at work. I have an iPod dock, and run the output of the iPod to the input of this amp. (Don't forget to buy a Y cable to connect the iPod to the amp!) Works great for this. The only thing to add to this amp would be a L/R balance control, but that's not a problem for this. A great value for a small amplifier!

First, please be aware that my 5 star rating is contingent on the reader recognizing that this a sub-$50 amp.
That said, this little thing does a great job! I hooked it up to a couple of 50 watt speakers in the kitchen to push up the sound coming out of my laptop and voila! Instant volume! It won't win any contests for clean sound or anything, but it's not terrible and I doubt I could possible get clean sound out of my lap top anyways.
